Ascend Odyssey is early, and several of these answers are about what it does not do. Knowing the boundary is more useful than a longer list, so the limits are stated as plainly as the capabilities.
Will Ascend Odyssey ever ask for my RuneScape password?
No. Never, under any circumstances, for any feature, on any plan. Ascend Odyssey does not need one and there is nowhere in it to put one. If anything claiming to be Ascend Odyssey asks for your game password, it is not us.
Does Ascend Odyssey automate anything in the game?
No. Ascend Odyssey is advisory only. It has no connection to the game client and no code path that could create one. You play the game; Ascend Odyssey helps you decide what to play.
What can Ascend Odyssey actually do right now?
All of the below, and every bit of it works on records you enter yourself — nothing is read out of a game account. The home page sets out what is being built after this.

Can Ascend Odyssey bring my account in from the game?
No, and that is a decision rather than a limitation. Ascend Odyssey does not connect to any game, never asks for a game password, and does not read your account. Everything in it is something you wrote down, which is why nothing here is guessed and why none of your records depend on a source outside your control.
Are the numbers Ascend Odyssey shows me estimates?
No — every figure on a goal page today is arithmetic over numbers you typed: what is left to a level you named, how far along you are, and, once you have saved your progress twice a day or more apart, your own pace and about how many days remain at it. Ascend Odyssey has measured no rates and shows no estimate about the game itself — it would rather show nothing than a guess. When it does, every estimate will carry a range, how confident Ascend Odyssey is, and how old the data behind it is — and you will be able to disagree with it.
Does Ascend Odyssey send me notifications?
Inside the product, two: when a goal you set is coming up on its target date, and when you finish one. Both are off until you switch them on in your preferences. Neither is emailed — Ascend Odyssey sends email only for things you asked it to do, such as confirming your address or resetting your password. There are no digests, no nudges and no marketing.

Ascend Odyssey is small and there is no support rota yet, so there is no reply time to quote you — quoting one would only be a promise to break. Include your account email and what you were doing, and skip anything sensitive: no password, game or otherwise, is ever needed to help you.
You can also export or delete your data yourself, without asking anybody, at any time.
